Nim Singh

Nim Singh, MPH is a seasoned public health and healthcare executive with more than twenty years of leadership experience across academic, nonprofit, and corporate healthcare sectors. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Health Sciences from Northeastern University and a Master of Public Health in Community Health from Hofstra University.
Nim currently serves as Executive Director of the Empire State ALS Alliance, a large-scale nonprofit focused on statewide clinical care coordination, research harmonization, and health system integration. She also serves as Vice Chair of the American Migraine Foundation and will assume the role of Chair in June 2026. Previously, she served as Executive Director of both the American Migraine Foundation and the International Headache Society–Global Patient Advocacy Coalition, leading global patient advocacy, research dissemination, and cross-sector collaboration in headache medicine.
Throughout her career, Nim has held senior executive, research, and strategy roles within leading healthcare and public health organizations, including Atria Health, the National Kidney Foundation, the New York State Health Foundation, Young Survival Coalition, and Nassau University Medical Center (now Northwell Health). Her work has spanned multiple disease areas, including migraine and headache disorders, ALS, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, and breast cancer.
Nim is a published contributor in the field of headache and migraine and is frequently invited to speak at national and international conferences. She has collaborated with global and federal stakeholders—including the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and public-private industry partners—to advance best practices in patient advocacy, health systems innovation, and evidence-based program development. Her career reflects a sustained commitment to improving patient outcomes through strategic leadership, research translation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
